Wouldn’t it be nice if your puppy would have good manners and an understanding of house-training for you to build on instead of starting from scratch?
One thing I have noticed is that some breeders are charging for a "training package" for the things that should already be included as a strong foundation for all puppies to build on. I believe that every puppy should, at minimum, go through a puppy curriculum and be exposed to things that will help them to adjust to their new homes at no additional cost!
All of my puppies go through an advanced puppy curriculum, preparing them for their new lives!
All of my puppies have Early Neurological Stimulation age 3 days to 16 days.
All of my puppies have Early Scent Introduction age 3 days to 16 days.
All of my puppies will have experienced grooming including nail grinding.
All of my puppies are litter trained and have been introduced to a crate.
All of my puppies are exposed to and work on/around multiple sights, sounds, objects, & surfaces.
All of my puppies get at least one outing in addition to the vet trip, to get them used to the car and showing them that the world is bigger than just our home.
Do you want a professional to socialize your puppy during its critical “fear period”?
Puppies go through a fear period around 8 to 10 weeks of age, right when many will go home with their new family. This means that they will be more cautious of new things and may develop new fears, even of things they were previously exposed to and had no fear. A puppy that has a bad experience during a fear period may develop an unreasonable fear of whatever caused the bad experience. Training with someone that not only understands the importance of proper socialization during the fear period but also has a relationship with the puppy will give the best chance of a positive outcome.
I started training dogs 25 years ago, way before I began raising puppies. I graduated from National K9 School for Dog Trainers in 1998. This school is one of very few dog training schools to be recognized by the State of Ohio, granting authority to issue professional certificates to its graduates and allowing graduates to use the title of Certified Professional Trainer (CPT).

Optional Puppy Training
After you choose your puppy, he/she will stay with me for 2-3 extra weeks. During the extra time with me I will work with your puppy and teach him/her manners, basic obedience and the foundation of house training. This is an ideal time to start training a puppy because they have not formed any bad habits and are like a blank slate. I am the best trainer to write on this blank slate because they already know and trust me! We have already spent the last 8+ weeks learning together.
2 week puppy obedience program:
*Your puppy will be used to resting/sleeping in a crate and will wait up to 2 hours during the day and 6 hours during the night to be taken outside to potty.
*Your puppy will understand the touch command, while no more than 6 feet away.
*Your puppy will walk nicely on a leash, with limited pulling.
*Your puppy will sit on command and stay for up to 1 minute ignoring added distractions.
*Your puppy will down on command and stay for up to 1 minute ignoring added distractions.
*Your puppy will come when called, on leash up to 6 feet away.
*Your puppy will continue with fun and positive socialization opportunities to ensure you have a well rounded dog.
Includes a flat nylon collar and a 6’ leather leash.
Bonus: Includes two free, private Zoom training lessons after your puppy goes home, to teach you how to help your puppy continue to learn.

All of this for $1500
3 week puppy obedience program:
Includes everything in the 2 week puppy obedience program plus:
*Your puppy will go to the crate on command, up to 6 feet away.
*Your puppy will walk in a general heel position and automatically sit when you stop.
*Your puppy will sit with verbal or hand signal & stay up to 3 minutes ignoring added distractions.
*Your puppy will down with verbal or hand signal & stay up to 3 minutes ignoring added distractions.
*Your puppy will come when called up to 20 feet away, dragging a longline ignoring distractions.
*Your puppy will understand “leave it” while on a leash.
*Your puppy will go to “place” and stay at least 5 minutes ignoring added distractions.
*Your puppy will go on a field trip each week to work on obedience at another location.
Includes a training collar, a longline, a tab and a “Place” mat, in addition to collar/leash.
Bonus: Includes an additional free private Zoom training lesson (total of three), after your puppy goes home, to teach you how to help your puppy continue to learn.
All of this for $2,500
Please remember that your puppy is still a baby! He/she will make mistakes, and will need you to continue working with him/her to reinforce the things that he/she learned to retain the information and get better. All of these things your puppy will do on leash (except resting in crate). You will have access to videos to help you to learn how to work with your puppy, in addition to lessons with me via Zoom.
We love having puppies here to play with and train, but due to the natural Velcro nature of this breed and the strong bond that occurs at a young age, these puppy training packages are only available to puppies matched with their forever family by the age of 10 weeks. That way they are home, bonding with their new family by the time they are 12 or 13 weeks old. We offer Zoom training lessons for older puppies and adult dogs, see below.

Basic Obedience Zoom training:
Learn to teach your dog basic obedience through lessons with me over Zoom!
You will learn to teach your dog to:
*walk nicely on a leash
*heel at your left side and sit automatically when you stop
*sit on command and stay until released, even with lots of distractions
*down on command and stay until released, even with lots of distractions
*come when called and automatically sit in front of you and stay there until released
*go to “place” and stay there until released
*respond to verbal commands and hand signals
All of these will be taught with a 6 foot leash, a training collar and lots of treats and praise. You will be shown how to proceed to more advanced, off leash training on your own, but individual advanced lessons can also be purchased if you prefer more help.
Basic Obedience Package includes 6 lessons for $500
Additional Advanced lessons are $50 each (only available after basic or puppy obedience is completed)
